MOD Format:


Requirements: phpBB3 version listed above.
Features:

1. Database controlled through the ACP
2. Easy implementation on any page, just insert 2 bits of code (code shown in the ACP).
3. Can work with any style.
4. Display most recent posts from a set of forums that you define through the ACP
5. Display only 1 post per topic or multiple posts per topic.
6. Display first post of each recent topic.
7. Only displays posts from forums you have permission to see

It basically gives you the ability to display a post anywhere on a website that has phpBB3 installed on it...
So, for example, lets say you have:
http://mywebsite.tld/index.php <-- on this page, you would use this script and display, for example, the most recent post in the announcements forum.
-- only requirement is that you would have to have phpBB3 installed on your website... anywhere on your website... location is not an issue.

sorry... it turned it into a link. It's not a real website/page, it's just an example.
Whenever I give a website example, I always use .tld, (Top Level Domain), it is not a real domain extension.

Did you try downloading the Zip file Handyman posted?

There... download the zip file again... it has instructions on how to get the last number of posts (the number is customizable)

great, but I can't use the methode get_last_posts,get_post_contents work great but i don't know how to use get_last_posts what exatly it return? and how can I use the returned values for my template?
