They have us back online now. You should be able to connect now.

I'll check that connection from another computer to make sure it's working.

Hey Snipe,

I've decided to duplicate the forums, use the same database, but utilize a B5-dev file structure for the template, that way it will decrease the number of things we need to edit between B4->B5 and RC1

Let me know if the FTP ended up working for you, then I'll move it over to the new directory.

I'm having problems with the CVS settings. I poked in there once and messed everything up. Testing CVS settings on my site has has not helped me. I'm wanting the CVS settings to control the style instead of the filesystem.

My first question:
Do I have to manually set the imageset and theme images one by one in the CVS or is there a way to update the database with the filesystem info?

Well.... I guess that's my only question.

Ah, I have returned from the dead again... I haven't been here since around Chris...er, the holidays. And apparently there is a 10,000 character limit on this message, so I am going to keep it short...

I'm in favor of a Star Trek Guide style, but also the modification of subSilver (or is it blue?) that makes it more like Star Trek Guide. However, this wintery tree thing is getting old, and the headers on the index alternating between trees and snowflakes is sorta unattractive and confusing to the eyes.

Additionally, I'm going to go dig around in some forum and ask another question since it is inappropriate here lol. Cheers.

Thanks for the heads up on the limit... I set the limit to 1,000,000 characters, but somehow, the textfield limited the characters. I've reset it to unlimited.

We are very close to a style preview, and to be honest, the decorations are getting old on me as well... they were cool to have for a while, however.

When B5 is officially released I'm going to start in on my own style. As for STG, this may sound a bit off, but I didn't originally care what style you go with so long as a "customized subSilver" doesn't end up like this.

However, from the look of some of the buttons I'm seeing, I'm getting nervous, so make sure subSilver is available.

We will have two options to pick from... we are still experimenting a bit, but we are just finishing up our main STG (dark) style... it's very Star Trekie looking, so I'll have to include a lighter side as well... in the mean time, I'll use only a slightly modified subSilver for the light choice.

We've had an incredible amount of help from Sniper_E, he is spending so much time creating the style, it's been really nice to have that help, as it's been very difficult for me to find the time to do any of it myself... Thus why the icons are still here, but not to worry, they will soon be gone.

I put together a slightly modified version of subsilver before starting this style.
I'll set it up for you tomorrow and you can check it out.

We should still change the images a bit, but as long as we keep with that overall feel, It will be awesome.
