The testuser for your demo board doesn't work =/ I can't log in with it - it goes straight to the "maximum number of attempts" after just one attempt - and I know I entered it all correctly according to that first post.

Hi Honor sorry about that someone may have changed the password of the account I have reset the password and I can confirm that the user+pass combination on my first post in this thread now works again.

Feedback on this mod is greatly appreciated.

Okay one more question. I see the tutorial on how to create an event, but I can't figure out how to make an event section. I am very totally lost.

Hi Honor,

No problems that is why I am here to help support my mod.

To enable event registration for a board please follow these instructions - http://itconstruct.com.au/phpBB3/viewto ... f=24&t=225

Good luck!

Successful test! :clapping:

I do have one small thing to suggest - on that last set of instructions you sent me (that last link) - it completely skips "choose the right forum" in between "5. Select desired usergroup and click submit." and "6. Select Advanced Permissions". The only reason I say this is because I'm not sure that it really matters? Does setting this permission apply to all forums no matter which one you click, or are you only setting the permission for that group in that forum?

Thank you so much! This mod is absolutely perfect for my site :D :yahoo:

Sorry to double post on ya - but I just noticed another thing:

I have my board set to 800 px wide. Now, the Registration Attendance tab, when posting, expands to take everything in. But i I set the options to Columns, and hit submit, the text just disappears off the side after 800 px. Is there a way to soft-wrap it? Or shrink the columns so they all fit?

This is important and as such I have updated the instructions.

Permissions are applied only to the forums you have selected and only for the group you have setup permissions for.

Thank you! I am glad you like it!

No problems about the double post.

Can you try the following post I have just made active - http://itconstruct.com.au/phpBB3/viewto ... f=24&t=274 .

Please let me know how this goes as I wrote this solution up some time ago.

Also please let me know what style you use so I can add it to the list.

My style is my own creation..... a severely mutated ProSilver theme :P
Board: http://www.blueplanetrp.com/phpBB3
Test: TestUser
Pass: testUser

If you use that to take a peak, beware that the style isn't finished yet :P It will change once you sign in.

The solution worked, thanks :) But now I've noticed two more things. It most likely isn't a bug in your code but rather a change I accidently made somewhere *facepalm*

1) Under the first registration, no matter what it is, the username color changes to match the color of the registration button. But the second and any consequent registrations keep the username color from the usergroup.

2) When I edited my post just now to try out the fix, I also tried to save a preset. I clicked the checkbox and got the name box, but when I clicked the namebox to name the preset, the checkbox unchecked and the box disappeared.

Give me five minutes if you're online and I'll have TestUser set up to post registrations so you can see.

Didn't mean to break your code, but I seem to be really good at that as of late >_< Thanks again!

Edit: Scratch that... if I set the columns to allow confirmation - it still dissappears off the edge. Take a peak yourself - it's the "Test Registration" under Announcements.
