RC7 is safe to upgrade to.

We expected some of these issues to arise with RC6.
There is one issue with the RC7 update package, and the fix can be seen here: RC7 update package fix
Watch out! I might do a code wheelie!

phpBB3-CVS_2007-10-17.tar.gz :: Fresh Install this morning....

I was having problems in RC7 with the fresh install.
I just installed a fresh copy of the latest CVS and I'm still looking for an error.
Everything is looking great so far. I think they are getting real close to a solid release.

I have registration opened on this fresh install if anyone wants to help test for bugs
so we can inform .com of what few bugs they may have left to resolve.
We can admin everyone we know from here that signs up for testing purposes.
No is NEVER an Option and NEVER is the only Option when it comes to Giving Up!

It wasn't too bad for me either. Much nicer than RC5 to RC6

Yeah, the RC6->RC7 should be seamless.
The Security Code Audit was a major shift.

BTW, Do any of you know who did the security code audit? :D
