Hacking PHPBB

Hello all,
I have a question not sure where to put this but it does say talk about anything here.

I have a phpbb 3 site and I keep getting a guy or girl hacking my site but each way they gets in I stop but it is getting old playing this game with them. I dont deal with warez or any of that crap I run a very fun site that wants its users to have fun. But this person wants to crap all over it. But what they have been doing is getting in the Admin panel and making themselves an Admin this is getting old how can I stop this. Any help would be great. Thanx in advance

1. They can't get in without knowing your password....
2. If they have access to you FTP account, it can be easily done


So, first, change admin passwords
after that, change your FTP password,

After that check each and every file inside the directories. Keep only files of which you are 200% certain they need to be in that place. Furthermore, check if the files are of the latest version!

Was just sitting here and decided to run a keylogger checker on my comp and found out how they were doing it . Should have thought of this earlier. No wonder they new how to get in every time. People have way to much time on there hands LOL. Just to let everyone know in the community if they see this email around them be careful

It's not really unheard of (unfortunately), so it's something you should check for regularly... especially after downloading software.

Just get an Anti-Virus and you shouldn't get them...

Browse smart and it's even harder to get them.
