Features

• Administrators can set a forum to "Topics Only Visible to OP"
• When in this mode, the only topics a normal user see are their own
• A new permission is added under misc called "Can see OP view only topics", this allows a user to view all topics on an author only board
• Announcement, global announcement, and sticky topics are still visible by all

Demo Board:
Click Here. There are hundreds of topics but you can't see any because guests and normal registered users do not have the permission.

instructions
For each forum you desire, turn on the Topic Only Visible to OP option. (ACP -> Forums -> Manage Forums -> [forum name] edit -> General forum settings --> "Topics Only Visible to OP" option)
3) Give permissions to desired Users' and Groups'. (ACP -> Permissions -> Forum Based permissions -> Users' or Groups' Forum Permissions -> Select Appropriate Forum(s) -> Misc -> "Can see OP view only topics")

I'll look over the code and implementation when I can, and offer any suggestions.

Beta Version 1.1
If a user lacks the view all posts permission and a board is author view only, that user cannot search that board anymore via any search method. I tried to implement it so they could search only their topics, but that started turning into a big miss of modifying SQL queries which, no doubt, would cause a performance hit for almost no benefit. This may be implemented someday, especially if someone suggests a nice method how. Otherwise this MOD is complete until Olympus gold release.

There was a variable misspelling which caused notices to be thrown when creating a new forum. All known bugs are now fixed.

You probably should allow users to read Announcements and Globals in the author-only forum. I'm pretty sure you can use

No, it checks to see if the post is = to sticky. This excludes announcements and global announcements. Use the >= operator to includ those

Ah, I remember now. The SQL query which pulls the announcements is separate from the query that pulls normal and sticky topics. Thus, only Sticky topics need special consideration. If you want to see a demo for this MOD you can go here:
