ok .. i reuploaded all the files and it does show the page ... but the top header and all not showing .

im using the same style as this one . SF_Glacier . edit using Macromedia Dreamweaver MX

I believe the newest Dreamweaver does save files without a Bom signature. Are you using the lastest one? If not, it might be adding the bom signature and you might want to try using another editor like notepad++

In the template folder there is instructions for subsilver2
Somehow you need to alter those for the drop down links in glacier. I have never worked with glacier templates, so I cannot tell you how there.

Dreamweaver MX is the 2004 version .. anyway .. already got it up and running .. edit the backup with notepad and uploaded it all again .. and the culprit is .. ..... my broadband .. which is a crap here in malaysia ... .. some of the files didnt go tru ... manage to download it with other ISP ..

*cough* LSJ, Dreamweaver MX is nowhere near the newest Dreamweaver version, so I'm betting that it is a BOM signature problem.

coldfusion, did this solve your timeout problem also? If you use a different editor, don't use plain notepad. Use Notepad++ or Crimson editor. Plain notepad can also add a bom signature.

When I tried to install the blog/install.php I get this:

"You are running an unsupported PHP version. You must be running PHP 5.1.0 or higher to use this modification."

Well, what version of PHP are you running?
This mod does not run on anything but php 5.1.0 and higher. This is stated in the mods documentation.

how can i disable or remove random blog entry ??

I created new categories for blogs, but how to post the blogs in that category, i dont find any option there

In blog controlPanel->Blog Settings-> blog Style it is displaying few styles which are not installed in my board so this may cause a problem if user selects any uninstalled style, so how can i remove dat also

blog/view/main.php

Find:
'S_RANDOM_BLOG' => true,

Replace with
'S_RANDOM_BLOG' => false,


You are not looking hard enough.

It displays all styles which are installed in the database. If you've deleted styles from your files without uninstalling them it will still list them.

You'll have to take a look at what pictures are missing from there and add them to your style.

Oh really something like that might be worth mentioning up front at the download link, few people are fortunate or privileged enough to run the newer versions of software, I guess I will begin uninstalling it then. Thanks for the info.
