Is there some sort of pack maker that would help to create a new file with other icons?

It is because you didn't have the ADD box checked.
It is hard to see....Up in the left hand corner there is an arrow near where you see your "You are logged in as:" Click on that arrow, the panel will pause, but then it will show the whole smilie page and now to the right of the column "Smiley Order" you will see a column called "add"
Do what you did before to add the smiley but also click on the "add" column to add the smiley.

It doesn't show me the smileys as images. I downloaded the .zip file and extracted it. I uploaded the .pak file to the smiley folder. Added it in the ACP and all smileys appear as :smileyname:

http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m287 ... 311816.gif

Help is appreciated. :hello:

EDIT: Nevermind. I realized I needed to download the .tgz file too which includes all the smiley images. Problem solved. Thanks :hello:

You have to list each smiley image on one line. Look at the example below.

The first is the image file name. >> 'biggrin.gif',
The second is the is the width of the image. >> '20',
The third is the height of the image. >> '20',
The fourth is if you want it to show in the posting page. >> '1',
(The fourth set to '0', means you have to click "More Smilies" to see it.)
The fifth is the text you see when you hover over the image. >> 'Grin',
The sixth is the code you use to post that smiley. >> : D

Use this format.
Code: Select all
'biggrin.gif', '20', '20', '1', 'Grin', ':D',
'grin.gif', '20', '20', '1', 'Grin', '',
'smile.gif', '20', '20', '1', 'Smile', ':)',
'wink.gif', '20', '20', '1', 'Wink', ';)',
'wave.gif', '25', '15', '1', 'Wave', '',
'hi.gif', '42', '28', '0', 'Hello', ':hello:',
'scratch.gif', '20', '20', '0', 'Scratch', '',
'crybye.gif', '26', '18', '0', 'Bye', ':bye:',
'dry.gif', '20', '20', '0', 'Glare', ':glare:',
'eek.gif', '15', '16', '0', 'Eek', '',

Notice above the first 5 will show in the posting page and the last 5 will not.
That is the difference in the '1', and the '0',
No is NEVER an Option and NEVER is the only Option when it comes to Giving Up!
