I've got a question about the style:
Is it possible to define a specific background for each sub-forum?
so if I, for example, go on caserna I get an armory as background, but if I go on hotel I get a hotel.
thanks in advance guys!

I am sure it is possible but I wouldn't know how... it would probably require a pretty extensive modification to more than just the style.

Ayah, I think you'd have to modify viewforum.php and maybe viewtopic.php for that to work, to introduce a few new variables...I don't think it would be easy at all.

There is a problem with this theme on the new firefox! Until now (firefox 3 rc2) this theme lags a lot! With firefox2 it is just perfect! How can it be fixed?

Could you check it here http://www.shadowflames.us/development/ ... p?style=18
and see if you have the same results?

I use BF_Vista here, but I use FireFox 2, no problems.

So it's related to the FireFox 3 and the way it is rendering the style, not the styles problem
because if it was an issue with the style it would be there in other browsers, IE7 Safari Opera

What is it hanging up on, the background image?

It doesn't matter what connection you have! I have 24 mbit! I think that the problem lies to the background cause if I don't have any background the forum speed is perfect! I have a QUAD-CORE CPU and 4gb of RAM so there is nothing wrong with the pc!

No doubt the background is large. However, I honestly am not experiencing this issue in that browser version which I am currently posting from. If it causes you an issue, you can always change the background to something else more suitable to your needs. No harm in that. :hello:

How to add Nav Bar? Having problem replacing the logo with a smaller one. Board index going up and the black portion is covering it.

Hey guys I need a little assistance with my phpBB forum which is running BF_Vista. I am wanting to add a 'Welcome' area between the line that contains "* * Login/Logout New Messages FAQ *Search *Members User Control Panel" and the line that says "Last visit was..." and "It is currently...". If you want to know what im talking about, look at my forum here. All that the welcome area needs to be is text. I was wondering, where in the BF_Vista Template folder would I edit to make this possible? Also, is there some way that instead of it just being text, if it were a box that matched the rest of the forum that had text in it? Thanks!
