This is an interesting idea.

One question though: If somebody clicks on the "Quote" button won't they be able to see your hidden BBcode?

Hmm... I hadn?t thought of that... thanks! :good:

Okay, so on topic review in posting page, the quote would disappear, and on viewtopic the quotes would disappear on the posts that have the [hide] tags... correct?
One thing though, a user could still quote the text/content, there is nothing I can really do about that...
Any ideas?

Yes after replying/revealing the hidden content, the user can make a re-post/reply with the revealed content, but no they wont do that, and if so the Warning MOD kicks in :good:

I just thought of a couple more things...

In a case where the hidden information could be revealed, it would be best to use the thank-post MOD function.
and/or not allow edit-posts to be performed.
