Link was http://www.roleplaygateway.com/stats.php - which does in fact have stats. Maybe I mistyped the URL or something last time?

It's a private link, so you won't find it floating around on my site just yet.

Ah! there we are!
Wow... you implemented a logging system to keep track of that?
Watch out! I might do a code wheelie!

That is really cool!

I love the simplicity of the page design, too....it looks neat.
Iron helmets will not save
Even heroes from the grave.
Good men's blood will drain away
while the wicked win the day.

Nope, I'm actually generating everything on that page via the information available in the system as is. (Which is what causes the page so long to load - I'm not using memcache or a static cache for that page.)

I do some magic with the timestamps on posts, and the registration date for each user, etcetera. I then feed all that information into the Google API, which generates that graph. I could just as easily output a .csv file or something similar - (for example, I really really like your chart, Highway of Life)

Wowo, that's really good! If you managed to use a cache for that, it would be one heck of a page!

*cough* Distro it *cough*

Boink, cached as a static file. It'll regenerate every 10 minutes. :)

The phpBB database already contains so much information, there's no reason to regenerate this data in other formats. Unless you want to track things that aren't permanently stored, like user session data (useful if you want to track the number of users online at any given point).

Anyone else see any modules that they'd like on the stats page? My next step is average word count, maybe some Flech-Kincaid calculations. I'll write a function that you could pass an array of post IDs, and it would parse the body of text in each post.

Wow. That would really be an impressive stats page.
