Im still chasing the bug.

I am planning to work on parallel while Hol and others help me find the bug.

My plan is to do these.

1. Install new phpbb3 in new location (done)
2. Install Glacier style (done)
3. Install Ajax Chat (done)
4. Install Arcade Mod (next in line)
5. Transfer all post ang files. (need your help here)

Can you help me how to do step 5 in best posible way. So far [ img ] bug is not happening in my new board.

I also reaview your step by step tutorial and now i am wondering if config.php is not viewable by others? I saw some can view "index of" and able to browse the file. Can others not see the password from config.php?

If your apache server is configured correctly then it is impossible to browse trough the index and opening config.php, for the simple reason that apache opens automatically any index.{whatever} file it finds. If index.php (and in other folders index.html) isn't available, then you have a problem indeed.

how will i know if the apache is configured correctly? what should i ask with my host?

I need to know how to transfer all my files and post from old site since I am only moving the data in a newly installed phpbb3 with MODs, i am guessing that your step by step is not applicable.

I want to know how will be the step by step process in transfering my files and post in my situation.

That will be a lot more difficult, how much more i can't say. THAT completely depends on all changes that were made during the mod-adding process. If you don't have deep-inside knowledge of databases, tables etc. than i suggest you don't even try...or at least find some help that can dive into your database...

I am having problems with a database. I was attempting to move my databases to a new host and I didn't have time to check them in my localhost(I know...bad me)

Any ideal how I can fix that table? I tried putting the forum on my local host and it will not work either, but a different forum database is working, so I am assuming something happened to this database when backing up. It seems to involve the posting table and smilies.

It looks like you're missing part of the POSTING.PHP file...

Try redownloading it if you can, or get a fresh copy and reMOD it to suit your needs.
