I like the text ones, but im sure you could have done the user based ranks better.
Now they are nicely outlined, but have this square-ish ''things'' inside.

They look really nice... but I don't think the square rank pips look very good. Everything else is smooth, cool blue, and then you come across the square rank pips and it kind of crashes the experience...
My suggestion is to make the pips cylindrical instead of rectangular.

But good job anyway.

I like your ranks! Using them already.

Would you allow the psd file to be shared here so we could make some additions to the text ranks? Also, the squares inside of the ranks are cool. They could also be cooler if you could use the Alien vs Predator time bomb sequence inside!!!

If you've seen the movie, that would be when the predator sets the nuke on his wrist, where the square bars are aligned as if they were a count down.

Thanks for mentioning that the PSD file is in the download package. However, I tried opening it and PS won't accept it due to "not enough RAM?"

I open other PSD files and they are all ok. Some of which are bigger in size. And I doubt if its my PC RAM coz I have 1GB RAM at least loaded.

Could it be that the psd file in the package is corrupt? I downloaded the package again but it still won't open, even if I try it on other PC's.
