Hello,

I'm happy that someone took over development of this useful MOD - thanks!

However, I've run into a few serious problems installing it - 2 of them I could resolve myself,
but now I'm stuck with the last one... preventing me from activating the WPM functionality
for my users.

The minor glitch is that links in the WPM are basically destroying the functionality without
even an error message if the defined maximum number of links (definable in PHPBB) is
exceeded. Basically I would think that the administrator should be able to create a "PM"
with an unlimited number of links - especially in a PM important as this one?!

However, I swallowed the bitter pill and removed all useful links from my WPM.

But then, still, the PM sent to new users contained ALL BBCodes and by that of course messed
up the message completely and rendering it useless.

I am using a subsilver2-based theme. I found one message in this long thread that dealed with
subsilver2, however, I couldn't understand it and thus couldn't find out how to get my WPM to work
(if it is even related to that).
The preview works just fine - I guess it is just stored incorrectly (not parsed).

What can i do to fix that?

It never has worked. I finally gave up on this issue after 1 1/2 years. Some have claimed they got it to work. There have been literally hundreds of posts on this issue. Try this User option, try this try that!! Nothing works.

Sorry I know this is not what you want to hear but just don't take my word for it. Read through this thread and have a look at the 70 some odd pages of posts on this issue on phpBB.com. It is never ending.

Did you try to change the message manually inside the database?

I'm having issues with the messages being send. I have now 70 PMs in my outbox but some get send out, others don't, even after few user logins. What can be the cause?

I have this mod installed on my forum... I had no errors and everything seems ok.... except that the actuall PMs never get sent

any ideas?
