To place the Window static on the page like in my screen shot,

You willl need to remove the code added by the original mod,
be sure to make backups of all files edited.

i tried it, but moved it again:
- if a use is logging in and a pm is waiting for him, the layer will be shown only on the first screen while logged in - and that's the confirmation screen for successful login, and this one disapperas within 1 second and then no info is shown again (the standard popup will stay) - no clue how to solve this
- maybe a "z-index: 999;" within the css definition for the layer can help if some style using z-index already -> the get the layer really on top of everythin else.

if someone has a solution for the first point, that would be fine...

I am having the same problem as Gumfuzi had with the layer showing up for about a second and then disappearing within a second. It shows almost instantly as the page is loading but at some point during the loading the layer disappears. Has anyone found an answer to this occurrence.

i did not get it working - but I have made an own "button"-like thing in my header, that is colored so, that the user will see it surely, showing the amount of unread pm's and the new pm's and if clicking at this button, you will get to the pm section of the ucp.

So, it is a bit like the original "you have 1 new message"-text in prosilver, except the different style.

I am sorry that I cannot provide you with a better answer.

Weird, My first try layer doesn't work

Nowm I am stucked up with BB codes, BB codes, don't work in the pop up using prosilver template...

EDIT: Can somebody tell, me how can I edit the content of the pop up instead publishing the whole private message content, and increase the font size of some POP UP content, I really got very small font

Hi, thanks for the mod, this is a fantastic modification. But I am facing a small problem with my theme. Since there is no close button in phpbb, its showing the delete button on the alert box. Please see the image below. Is there any way to show my custom close button instead of this delete button.

Post that delete button and I'll make you a close button to match your style. Or find a close button you like and use it instead.
