[MODDB]MOD Version Check 1.0.2

Hello, I just installed this because another mod I am getting ready to install recommended me to install it first.

Any how I installed it ok, no problems but when I click check for mod updates it says this mod is out of date and v1.0.3 is availabe with a link to the 1.0.3 download but it shows the mod is not their and this topic still says v1.0.2

Is v1.0.3 available or is it a bug?

Hello Sir,
I hope you can assist with solving my problem and thanks for taking the time to read my query.

Mod: Mod Version Check 1.0.3
phpbb version: 3.0.9
Didn't use automod
PHP Version 5.2.17

I was following the instructions to add the new module;

Go to your boards Administration Control Panel -> System -> Module Management -> Administration Control Panel -> System -> Automation

Select "Check for MOD Updates" from the dropdown menu (second from the bottom, just above "word censoring")
Click "Add Module"

After I click yes I get the following error message;

Code: Select all

General Error
Module not accessible

I get the same error message when navigating to ACP>System>Module Management>Administration Control Panel

Anyone come across this before?

Dumb Question. Did you check that all the files are copied over from the Root?

It seems to me when I installed this on 3.0.9 I had to copy them manually.

Did you not read where I said I DIDN’T use automod i.e all files WERE added manually. In fact I uploaded them twice just in case and looked in the relevant directories and the files were where they should be.

That was my original thought as well, but after further thought, that's not the message you would get if not everything was uploaded.
See if purging the cache fixes the problem.

Thanks so much for your reply Handyman, I purged the cache via ftp (leaving .htaccess & index.htm) and also via the ACP button with no change. It really has me perplexed why it happened, I wonder where in the database would the Mod Version Check module be stored? I could take a look see what’s going on in there? Maybe?
