Updating Avatars B5 -> RC1 Tutorial + Script

If you have updated from B5 to RC1 it is likely that you're board is missing all avatars. The next script will update the old avatars and database entries to the new layout of version RC1.

As always: BACKUP YOUR DATABASE !!!!!!

Step 1. Download the attachment & unzip it.
Step 2. Upload the content of the root directory to your site
Step 3. MAKE SURE you are in the prosilver style yourself (or copy the template file to the correct style/{STYLE}/template directory)
Step 4. Run the page from your browser by selecting http://{YOUR_SITE_URL}/avatar_convert.php
Step 5. Check the results on the page (it's doing the best possible thing it can, but not all old avatars will be converted)
Step 6. Delete the uploaded files from your board (they aren't needed anymore)

Just my luck. I get errors when running this script.

I got an abrupt response there. Basically, I followed this - although my users avatar problem was a long time ago. My problem is that I cannot upload group avatars and my members cannot upload there own avatars. Im on RC4 now... please help - Im getting sick of the attitude on the official boards.
