You would have to build a module system like the ACP, MCP or UCP which goes much farther in depth than the links I posted.
Which would still be beyond the scope of this topic. It would be best to start a topic about it, because it will most likely get long.
Do not PM me for Support unless I give permission in a post......PM's only help one, posts help everyone !

This package does make life easier, but is it also possible to include template files from the phpbb3 folder in some way?

Edit: Since I want custom pages with my custom header and footer, and also include my forum with my custom header and footer. Or do I still have to customize the header and footer file in the phpbb3 template?

I see that someone else has already asked this question and that the problem is because php4 is running rather than php5 on the server. thank you.
Hi
I am new to this php bizzo, being more familiar with asp, however I have recently installed phpbb3 into a directory named /phbb3/ and just now uploaded this function into the root directory ie not the phbb3 directory. I'm getting this error code:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in C:\domains\blabla\includes\website_class.php on line 34

This is line 34 of that file:

public function page_header($page_title)

Can anyone help with this? Appreciate it if you can.
Thanks

My php knowledge is by far elementary level but I do read alot before asking a question.

Installing this mod is a breeze.

Here's my question, I see prosilver and subsilver styles are the default ones. I'm using aero-blue as my forum style and want to use as my site style too. How do I make that happen. I've tried several ways but haven't had any success.

My site: http://www.christmascarolina.com/index.php
My forum: http://www.christmascarolina.com/forum/index.php

Any help is appreciated.

Hey, HoL, would this setup be usable across sub-domains? I've been working on separate sub-domains that are being run by the phpbb3 core, which resides in the root (www) directory. I'm having a serious problem with parsing bbcode and what not in the pages I've manually integrated with phpbb. I'm hoping this framework might resolve that issue.

As long the framework can reach the phpBB files and database there is no reason that it shouldn't work cross-domain. Just make sure that you setup the paths correctly.

Is this easy to use if you have a website already and just want to add elements from a forum into it? Like add the actual forums and search box and users online and user cp etc...

It's not really designed for adding content blocks to an existing website, but you could do that.
Watch out! I might do a code wheelie!
