Seems RC1 is about to be released, which should put 3.0.6 less than 2 weeks release away.

Especially since a lot of people already have quick reply, rss feed, and captha going... Is this going to be a messy upgrade?

As with all updates, things could be broken.

If you have a heavy modded board, just start now by downloading the latest svn and use that locally to check all mods.

QR and RSS shouldn't be a problem as the phpBB ones are turned off by default. The captcha might become a problem as the whole system behind it will be changed. But as usually thats the risk you are willing to take when you install MODs .

The update system is a little bit better now, so hopefully that will negate some of the conflict problems we've had in previous updates.
