It was, but we lost access to that server when we got laid off. Since then, we've had hosting generously donated; unfortunately, it's been shared hosting. We're in the process of trying to change that, but don't have it nailed down as of yet.

Captcha's are designed to keep humans out and let bots in :P
I think it's time to install a human readable captcha.

Clearly, a reverse captcha is in order.

Handyman, I have been on shared hosting for years and it finally came to a standstill after I put up my forums with a WHOLE 45 USERS!!! so far.

I did some checking where I am hosted (GoDaddy, YECH) B U T....They transferred my site and databases over to a GRID. The way it works is as follows....

You are still on shared hosting but when things lag or your site / forum is getting busy, instead of being just on a hosted server, they GRID.... Your forum / site will pull free resources from about 20 other servers. I tell ya' It is really nice.

I am on dial-up as I live in the tullies...WAY OUT...but even on a dial-up, I have noticed a difference. I was always down a minute here, 5 minutes there and throughout the day, it came to over an hour and some time 3 hours.

I have been on the GRID for only about 36 hours and have not had one second of downtime. Not a one.

Check in to it and see if your host offers this "FREE" service.

Ciau,

Knowing GoDaddy's notorious history of (in)security, you're probably being duped. GoDaddy doesn't exactly have the best record.

Or even close to a decent one.
