After typing a message in the quick reply and hitting Reload my message is still there.
But this is on my desktop in the mobile style.

My daughter is playing with my mobile phone today so I will test this with it later.
It may work fine with my mobile and it want work on yours that way. I'll check later and see.

What I'm getting at is all mobile devices are not the same. Some have features that others don't have.
Some can upload attachments and others are not able to do that.
Some can refresh the page or go to the full editor and retain their message, some can not.
You might have one of those phones that can not do this.

I'll test that later on mine and let you know what I find.
I will take the steps you took in your video.
I'm thinking in the lines of what Hippie posted, but we'll see.

Testing

[ Post made via Android] Image

Nope... Refresh did not carry over my words on my mobile. Going to Post Reply did not carry over my words either.
On my desktop it did carry over my words so it must be that mobile devices are not setup to do that.
I'll look at the codes later to make sure it's not a template problem. But, I don't think it is.

Thank you
I did this fix it
reason is the opera mini browser does not support script
Fix :
open posting_body.html on foder style mobile
find
Code: Select all
<td class="row1"><textarea name="message" rows="5" cols="16" tabindex="5" onselect="storeCaret(this);" onclick="storeCaret(this);" onkeyup="storeCaret(this);" style="width: 98%;">{MESSAGE}</textarea></td>

replace
Code: Select all
<td class="row1"><textarea name="message" rows="5" cols="16" tabindex="5" style="width: 98%;">{MESSAGE}</textarea></td>

I didn't see this mobile style at that address.
You had a Wap style installed there.
Is that what you're editing in this thread? :shock:

I didn't see my style when I went to your link on my mobile. I saw a wap style.

Oh, here it is: http://daivietpda.com/?style=3

Hey manhhung... Looks like you took the credits out of the footer and put yours in there.

NOT GOOD - You will not receive any support on any mod that you remove the credits from.

There is something else I was trying, by COC: viewtopic.php?p=122802#p122802

I'm trying to have the Full Phone Name ($real_name) show with the Short_Name.png ($status) for the image.

Those edits gives this in the post:
Code: Select all
[ Post made via C ]

Results are $status[2] = C and $status[1] = T

Is there something I don't have right?

Open includes/mods/mobile_device_detect.php
FIND
Code: Select all
   $accept         = (!empty($_SERVER['HTTP_ACCEPT'])) ? $_SERVER['HTTP_ACCEPT'] : getenv('HTTP_ACCEPT');
ADD after
Code: Select all
   $real_name      = '';
FIND
Code: Select all
               $status = 'BlackBerry Curve';
REPLACE with
Code: Select all
               $real_name = 'BlackBerry Curve';
               $status = 'BB8300';
FIND
Code: Select all
            return array($mobile_browser,$status);
REPLACE with
Code: Select all
            return array($mobile_browser,$status,$real_name);

Open posting.php
FIND
Code: Select all
      $message_parser->message .= "\n\n[ Post made via " . $status[1] . " ] [img]http://www.yoursite.com/forums/images/" . $status[1] . ".png[/img]";
REPLACE with
Code: Select all
      if (empty($status[2]))
      {
         $status = $status[1];
      }
      else
      {
         $status = $status[2];
      }

         $message_parser->message .= "\n\n[ Post made via " . $status[2] . " ] [img]http://www.yoursite.com/forums/images/" . $status[1] . ".png[/img]";
