Also, one thing to mention. The moment custom code comes into play, you're playing with fire. Most amateurs don't know what they're doing and either create sloppy, insecure, and buggy code or don't do it at all, and when a pro finds out they have to custom-code something the price goes up by a lot.

You need to download the style and edit the files.
Then re-upload and purge the cache.

Yeah you might be on to something here. 1 pc I use filezilla to edit and other was in ACP and Im pretty sure I didnt purge the cache at all when doing the style. This gives me a spark of hope now for a 3rd round with tweakin the style.

Yeh like I said comming from a development background myself when I was on the other side of the fence working for others. I remember the agony of someone wanting only a "couple lil things" done, but once I started... ooops! there was this, that, something else, and oh by the way ect ect and so I tred to be as complete as i could with what all was wanted. However, as mentioned before I see now that there were too many details but not enough specifics.

EXAMPLE: what?!?! you want all these mods and who knows how many bugs to fix on them on top of integration then to make this and that from scratch?!?! who in the BEEEEEPPPP has time for all that? $750,000,000  (not complaining of $1200.. Just making a feeble attempt at comedy here)

When in reality it is that I have the majority of inital MOD work done but lack the style (subject to change soon I hope) and then sure there is custom work that can cost a bit more than a puny $50, $150 ect or whatever but I am willing to pay for what I want from the right person willing to work with me and deliver a quality result and stand by their work. (ie: not a lazy amature type some of you have mentioned before)

 You know lol in many ways it is as if i am asking (more like begging at this point) to pay an experienced person or persons on case by case basis (free to walk away at any time) not to be at my beckon call 24/7 but rather to just simply step in and give me a hand with the development at their nearest relevant convienience when I hit a wall or need something scripted that exceeds my capabilities. (a slight step up from posting a help topic or MOD request and hoping week after week for a reply of some sorts. which as im sure you can understand is fine for small things, but larger road blocks that prevent development from moving on to the next stage and leave the project floating dead in the water for weeks or months at a time is another story)

Got a good rep and are qualified but need a lil something in you pocket to get started? fine.. let me know. sure im not gonna shill out $650-$1200 with nothing done as im sure you all wouldnt wish anyway (ok maybe some would  would be great huh?) but I can spot a lil something to the right person or person(s) for padding to get the ball rolling.

Is there any reason in particular that maybe is putting any of you off from working with me or is it only nobody has any free time at the moment? A friend of mine asked if I was able to hire anyone yet and when I said no they said maybe I said or did something wrong that nobody wants to work with me so just to be sure I thought I would ask.

small simple projects i would have time for, but time won't allow me to do this right now :(

so, like topdown said, don't take it personal. it's just that nobody has the spare time right now.

Reason 1: You're asking during Spring semester finals time. It is, of course, a bad time to get any coding work done.

Reason 2: I'm basically booked full at the moment (if not overbooked). Full time college student and actively working on OpenFlame. Developing a CMS from the ground up takes a lot of time and work, as I'm sure everyone reading can imagine.
