Adding collapse/expand buttons

I already have collapse/expand buttons for my categories, but would like to add them for two additional boxes I have on my site, a box with a quote, and the shoutbox. Can someone help me ? I would like to use collapse/expand like this: http://www.christianbullock.com/2011/ph ... th-cookies

I have show/hide categories setup in an install file.

Then once that is install you can show/hide your subforums.

no, no not hiding subforums. hiding a shoutbox and a random quote box I have from two other mods.....

No, not hiding subforums... The show/hide categories is what you want.
Are you hiding your categories now? It works the same way on your shoutbox and quotebox.

okay, isn't there some other way I can add a collapse/expand button for a box (like the quote box I have)? It doesn't have to have the fancy scrolling and it doesn't have to use the collapse/expand snippet I linked.

but how would I adjust it so I just add it for other boxes, NOT categories/subforums
