Now the site is working fine, BUT... I still can't find the download of that portal MOD.

if have to turn the portal on in the config.php file if it is off all portal function are turned off as well

When I enable it in the config.php it still looks the same, I can't figure out where to add and edit the content on this thing.

Site was down for a few hours... it fine now...
Don't forget prosilver is stored in the database, so you will have to refresh all prosilver style files via ACP before you can use the portal... Mike

Finally finished the new portal layouts... Previously after editing the blocks, layout/reorganising etc., you had to generate the layout files by pressing a button... This lead to problems with chmod and was not alltogether ideal...
Now just change what ever you want and it's done...

Is it supposed to log one out from the forum after a couple of minutes, or is that a "security" feature of the phpbb3 ACP?

I just downloaded rc1.
Edit: I installed the last beta version. I'll get the rc1 version installed when I get home from work monday and see how it goes.
This is prosilver only????? gahhh. I hate prosilver.

One more question....how do I figure out what number to put for the news section? I know where to put it, but I have no clue how to figure out what the forum number is.

I havent installed this version, but I would say that the answer is the same as I replied to you in the other portal thread
