ducky,

I can't find any question about groups management in your previsous posts, only a question about user management, that was answered satisfactory by Frans, and you did not reply to Frans, if Frans' answer provided you with a solution to your problem or not. Please repeat your question in this topic if it is not related to Frans' update script, otherwise please repeat your question in the topic about Frans' update script.

[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /adm/index.php on line 157: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /includes/functions.php:3661)

also when I try to goto manage groups I get

Hahahahahaaaaa, i had to read the answer 3 times before i got the message that ducky was talking to me (hehehe, chose 7 of 9 just because, well, i like her...... )

If i understand you correctly, my solution to the phpbb notice part was satisfactory and tha tproblem was solved.

But you are getting memory allocation errors ??
Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 6144 bytes) in F:.......includes\functions_user.php on line 1590

It seems like this is more of a memory problem (from your browser) than a update_script error. I know some styles do include the same javascript twice (once in a header, once in a body for example) and that can be the problem too.

It's not a browser memory problem, it's a server memory problem. The memory max has been set to 8 MB on server for your installation, and that seems to be too tight.

1. You can raise it using .htaccess or php.ini on server, if this available for you, and if it is not a global setting on server.
2. In the latter case, please contact your host with a request to raise it. On the two servers where I have my stuff running the maxes are respectively : 32 MB and no max. The vast majority of bulletin board applications are running fine with a memory max at 16 MB.
