So I can use the phpBB2 converter? Does it also convert the Forum Images and the Subforums?
I'm Dutch, so my English is not so good.

Yes the supplied converter will convert subforums... not sure about the forum images, I?m not that familiar with phpBB2.
But those are easy to replace in v3

I did a conversion but no subforums will be placed as a subforum :(

No, it won?t place them as subfolders, you would have to go in and re-order them... this should take a very short amount of time to do.
But it does transfer all of your subforums (i.e. it does not skip anything) -- I still recommend this method of using the default supplied converter over using the phpBB2/CH upgrade package.

Yeah, I don?t even know if he still plans to come out with his converter, plus, as we found out when making this script, there are a lot of CH MOD versions that are soo different from one to another, it can be challenging to provide a script that will work with them all... the best solution is just to set each forum flat (not nested) and then manually nest them as needed.

Actually it doesnt do subforums, because, like I said before, this script isn't made to work for CH modified boards. ;)

I actually made a script to upgrade the subforums correctly for CH 1.6 to phpBB3 a few months ago for a client. ;)

We made ours work with a different version of CHMOD as well... -- Older, if I remember correctly.

The script is in STG SVN.
In phpbb3/CH 1.6 upgrade package/upgrade/forums_upgrade.php

However you will have abnormalities within posts from using it, the UTF converter didn't work right when I used it. BBCodes might be broken and a whole bunch of other bugs are in those scripts. If you use the script you will not get any support, it is bugg laden and outdated.
