This isn't an error that's fatal, actually it says that part of the update script already ended normally...

Its still saying that it's Beta 5, not RC1 after running both scripts multiple times.

Hmm, tried this today but the script doesn't seem to be fixing my problem.

I'm getting the General Error: Could not get style data.

I ran the v3 script and it appeared to run properly...

Oh, odd... it wasn't working when browsing to ROOT/ but when I went to ROOT/index.php I was able to get in just fine. Probably my own error.

Hi joe, most of the time it seems you have to refresh once or twice before everything starts working (seems to be a caching problem)

Hi,
So I'm finally able to upgrade from beta5 to RC1.
after a quick check in the admin control panel, it turns out that my database version is:
MySQL 4.0.27-max-log

I'm am hosted with godaddy.

will this affect my upgrade?

what do I need to do?

Hi Johnny,

MySQL version is alright. The rest, well, i don't know the provider you mentioned (Godaddy) but if you have normal acces then youi should be allright (normal access as in: access to your database with phpmyadmin or similar tool AND normal FTP access)

If this is the case, download my script and just follow the instructions to the letter and you'll be up and running in (well, it takes me 1 minute now to update B5->RC1 but then again, did it more than 100 times i guess....

) 15 minutes....
