A Suggestion

Hi,

I have listen alot lately to the weekly podcasts Really interesting, all about issues concerning phpBB 3. Especially liked the item about php 5.xx I was glued at the speakers.

My suggestion/idea for STG;

Some sort of Knoweldge Base with items that are also being discussed on the Podcast, and I don't mean; "When its going to be Gold" or "This MOD doesn't work with my style" etc. but just straight to the point information on ie. Future supporting phpBB 3.xx PHP versions and the new features of PHP 5.xx, Google issues, SEO, Server related items, etc.

I know you can Google alot but it would be very helpfull if its nicely sorted in a Knowledge Base here on this site.

What do you think ?

Ha, That sounds that we have to wait for the Joomla bridge.

That would be an awesome integration for STG

mm... we don?t have to wait for the Bridge to do that.
We have an excellent development staff here at STG... the delay will be in the time it takes to crack the whi... er... *motivate* them.

So are we wanting to bridge a blog to the site? If so, are we going with a pre-coded blog software like wordpress or something else?

Or what about Exreaction's Blog MOD?
We can always improve it once installed, but I think it might be able to meet our needs, what do you think?

Being it is already installed and being worked on, sounds great to me. He does a really good job on his stuff.

Yes.

It?s disabled at the moment due to an error that it was causing in the viewprofile page, but when it?s back up, everyone has their own blog they can post in.
The staff will assist in certain aspects of the development of the MOD for Exreaction, including building and refining the styles for prosilver and subsilver2 based designs.
