What is wrong with cadets these days... they don't even ask for permission to come aboard anymore? :scratch:

Cadets are always coming aboard all the time.

It's if you want to join the bridge crew that you have to make a request.

Standard Starfleet Procedure states that all personnel shall ask permission to board a vessel from her captain or nearest ranking officer.
