Hey! Cool tutorial!

Maybe it's also a good idea to consolidate template "how to's" here.

Like width adjustment, which table in CSS would relate to what in the forum. More like a mix match thing so the newbies such as myself would know where to go to change em.

Just a thought. But this really makes me eager to try it now.

Thanks!

This tutorial deserves a 10/10 as it is the best tutorial I have ever seen. Well constructed, and of course formatted. Nice Job Semi_Deus. :good:

Great work on the tutorial :good:
but i have a short question, is there a way to set the cache to update when a file is changed (working on phpbb3.0.2)? I've been working on a simple style (creating custom images/template files/css files...) but needing to go to the admin panel and clearing the styles/theme cache is a bit bothersome.

True, but there is no automated mod to do that unfortunately. Also its safer to do it by hand, it more reinsurance that you have done the correct thing.
The best thing to do is probably to make a lot of changes before you purge the cache (double check your changes ofcourse). Then you won't have to do it after each small character fix.
