Star Trek: Picard Drafts How To Get Away With Murder Star as S2 Antagonist

CBS All Access' Picard has cast How To Get Away With Murder star Amirah Vann as a member of an all-female Romulan order with potential to become Jean-Luc Picard's Season 2 antagonist.

Vann, who appeared in the previews for this week's Picard, will make her official debut in the Feb. 13 episode "Absolute Candor." According toDeadline, she plays Zani, "a member of the Qowat Milat, a fierce all-female Romulan religious order who live on the colony planet of Vashti." Zani was pivotal in Picard's absence and saved Elnor's life.

The Patrick Stewart-helmed Picard, which aired its third episode on Thursday on CBS All Access, has already been picked up for a second season on the streaming service. Rumors suggest that Vann will continue her run into the next season, perhaps becoming Picard's antagonist in Season 2.
