Star Trek: Picard Poster Promises the End Is Only the Beginning

CBS All Access has provided fans with a first look at Star Trek: Picard.

In addition to releasing a teaser, the highly anticipated series unveiled its first piece of official key art. The poster is centered on a very familiar location to fans of Star Trek: The Next Generation: the Chateau Picard family vineyard in LaBarre, France.

Featuring the tagline "The end is only the beginning," the personal setting is a callback to The Next Generation's series finale "All Good Things...", which saw an elderly Picard running the vineyard after retiring from his careers in Starfleet and the United Federation of Planets.

The teaser opens with Picard similarly running the vineyard, years after he was last seen commanding the Enterprise in 2002's Star Trek: Nemesis, which also revealed that he was promoted to the rank of admiral before his retirement. While Jean-Luc may no longer be a Starfleet officer, the tagline on the key art suggests Picard's days of space-faring adventure are certainly not over.

Star Trek: Picard stars Patrick Stewart, Santiago Cabrera Michelle Hurd, Evan Evagora, Alison Pill, Harry Treadaway and Isa Briones. The series is set to debut later this year on CBS All Access.
