Watch The Teaser For Patrick Stewart’s ‘Star Trek: Picard’ Series

CBS released the first official teaser trailer for Patrick Stewart’s Star Trek: Picard.

25 years ago, Patrick Stewart signed off as Captain Jean-Luc Picard when Star Trek: The Next Generation concluded a seven-season run. Now, Patrick Stewart is set to reprise his role as Picard in a new Star Trek series that follows the former Captain of the starship USS Enterprise – NCC-1701-D in the next chapter of his life and the first teaser trailer for the CBS All Access show has been unveiled.

While the Star Trek: Picard teaser offers few details aside from shots of vineyards, a case of Chateau Picard, and a brief glimpse at Patrick Stewart’s older Jean-Luc Picard, the voiceover narration indicates the series picks up fifteen years after the events of Star Trek: The Next Generation and will explore why the revered admiral left Starfleet.
