July-August 2019 Trek Conventions And Appearances
There will be seventeen shows or appearances in July and August that will feature actors of interest to Star Trek fans. This listing of conventions and shows features actors from all of the televised series and several of the Star Trek movies.
July begins with Montreal Comiccon, which will be held July 5-7 at the Palais des Congres in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. In attendance at Montreal Comiccon will be Anson Mount, Ethan Peck, and William Shatner.
Fanboy Expo’s Knoxville Comic Con will be held July 12-14 at the Knoxville Convention Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. In attendance at Fanboy Expo’s Knoxville Comic Con will be Walter Koenig and John de Lancie.
Shore Leave will be held July 12-14 at the Delta Hotel Baltimore Hunt Valley in Hunt Valley, Maryland. In attendance at Shore Leave will be Anson Mount, Ethan Peck, and Nichelle Nichols.
Alabama Comic Con will be held July 13-14 at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex in Birmingham, Alabama. In attendance at Alabama Comic Con will be Denise Crosby and Chris Sarandon.
GalaxyCon Raleigh will be held July 25-28 at the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. In attendance at GalaxyCon Raleigh will be Jonathan Frakes, Ron Perlman, Chris Sarandon, Wallace Shawn, George Takei and Wil Wheaton.
The London Film & Comic Con will be held July 26-28 at the Olympia in London, England. In attendance at London Film & Comic Con will be Nicole de Boer, Jason Isaacs, Walter Koenig, Shazad Latif, Ethan Phillips, and William Shatner.
StarQuest will be held July 27-28 at the Hampton by Hilton in Frederick, Maryland. In attendance at StarQuest will be Tim Russ and Garrett Wang.
Wrapping up July will be The Official Star Trek Convention, which will be held July 31 – August 4 at The Rio Suites and Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. August will begin with the Steel City Con, which will be held August 9-11 at the Monroeville Convention Center in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. In attendance at Steel City Con will be Gates McFadden and George Takei.
Next up is the Michigan Comic Con, to be held August 16-18 at the Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan. In attendance at Michigan Comic Con will be Walter Koenig.
The New Mexico Comic Expo will be held August 16-18 at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In attendance at New Mexico Comic Expo will be Jason Isaacs.
Fan Expo Canada will be held August 22-25 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In attendance at Fan Expo Canada will be Rainn Wilson.
The Colorado Springs Comic Con will be held August 23-25 at the Chapel Hills Mall in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In attendance at Colorado Springs Comic Con will be William Shatner.
Trekonderoga will be held August 23-25 at the Star Trek Original Series Set Tour in Ticonderoga, New York. In attendance at Trekonderoga will be Robin Curtis, David Frankham, Terry Farrell, Lolita Fatjo, and Ethan Peck.
Dragon*Con will be held August 29 – September 2 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, Hilton Atlanta, Atlanta Marriott Marquis, Sheraton Atlanta, Westin Peachtree Plaza, and the AmericasMart Building in Atlanta, Georgia. In attendance at Dragon*Con will be Emily Coutts, Peter David, Anson Mount, Ethan Peck, and Kirk Thatcher.
Indiana Comic Convention will be held August 30 – September 1 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. In attendance at Indiana Comic Convention will be Walter Koenig and Alan Oppenheimer.
Wrapping up August will be Warped Con, which will be held August 31 – September 1 at the Doncaster Race Course in Doncaster, England. In attendance at Warped Con will be Tim Russ and Marina Sirtis.
