Star Trek: Picard Movie And TV Collection

The Star Trek: Picard Movie & TV Collection on Blu-ray arrives October 15 courtesy of CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment. For those abroad, the release dates are October 21 for the U.K., October 23 for Australia, and November 7 for Germany.

The six-disc Blu-ray collection features Star Trek: The Next Generation: Chain of Command, Star Trek: The Next Generation: Best of Both Worlds, and the four The Next Generation films; Generations, First Contact, Insurrection, and Nemesis.

In addition, there are “ten hours of previously released special features including behind-the-scenes looks, commentaries, gag reels, deleted scenes, and more.”

Included with the Blu-ray set will be an “exclusive sixteen-page comic book from IDW Publishing, featuring an original, never-been-seen storyline inspired by the iconic franchise.”

Here is the breakdown of the six discs:

Disc One – Star Trek: The Next Generation: Best of Both Worlds

Disc Two – Star Trek: The Next Generation: Chain of Command

Disc Three – Star Trek VII: Generations

Disc Four – Star Trek VIII: First Contact

Disc Five – Star Trek IX: Insurrection

Disc Six – Star Trek X: Nemesis

Presented in full screen format, the Star Trek: Picard Movie & TV Collection includes Star Trek: The Next Generation: Chain of Command which includes “English 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, English Stereo Surround, German Stereo Surround and French Stereo Surround, and English SDH, German and French subtitles.”

Star Trek: The Next Generation: Best of Both Worlds audio features English 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, English Stereo Surround, French Mono, Italian Mono, German Stereo, Castilian Mono, and Japanese Mono.” Subtitles include: “English SDH, French, German, Castilian, Japanese, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Norwegian, and Swedish.”

“Audio for Star Trek: Generations, Star Trek VIII: First Contact, Star Trek IX: Insurrection and Star Trek X: Nemesis is offered in English 5.1 Dolby, French 5.1 Dolby Digital and Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital, and subtitles are available in English, English SDH, French, Spanish, and Portuguese.”
