Star Trek: Discovery Season 2 arriving on Blu-ray in November
Announced at Star Trek Las Vegas, the second season of Star Trek: Discovery will arrive on Blu-ray and DVD on November 12.
It is pretty much official. Begun, the Streaming Wars have.
By this time next year people who prefer to stream their media will have a plethora of choices in front of them. There will be Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, HBO Max, Disney Plus and of course, CBS All Access. Most people won’t be able to afford all of them and no doubt some difficult choices are waiting to be made.
Which is why it should come as no surprise that physical media is starting to make a comeback. The simple idea that you can buy something once and then it’s yours, forever, can be very appealing. No need to worry what streaming service has what. You want to watch it, you pull out the Blu-ray, put it in the player and bam, you’re done.
