IDW Publishing Trek Comics For November
Three Star Trek comics will arrive in November courtesy of IDW Publishing.
The comics include: Star Trek: Picard: Countdown #1, Star Trek: Year Five #8, and Star Trek: Year Five: Odyssey’s End (Book 1).
The new Star Trek: Picard comic debuts in November. In Countdown #1, “You’ve seen the trailer…now witness the events leading to CBS All Access‘s Picard. Before he retired to his vineyard, Jean-Luc Picard was the most decorated admiral in Starfleet. Then one mission changed his life forever. The Countdown starts here!”
Star Trek: Picard: Countdown #1 was written by Mike Johnson and Kirsten Beyer, and features a cover by Sara Pitre-Durocher.
The thirty-six page issue will sell for $4.99.
Next up is Star Trek: Year Five #8. In this issue, “As a fleet of Tholian vessels closes in, Kirk and the rest of the crew struggle to free the Enterprise from the Tholian Web before it’s too late. And with the destruction of the ship hanging in the balance, Bright Eyes will have to make a choice between their human friends or going home. The final voyages of the original mission continue here!”
Written by Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly, Year Five #8 will feature art by Stephen Thompson, and covers by Thompson and J.J. Lendl.
The thirty-two page issue will cost $3.99.
Finally, Star Trek: Year Five: Odyssey’s End (Book 1) will also arrive in November. In this issue, “Join the crew of the U.S.S Enterprise in all-new adventures as they near the end of their five-year mission, featuring the characters from the Original Series! The crew of the Enterprise left Earth four years ago. They’ve traveled to strange new worlds, defeated impossible foes, and made universe-changing decisions. Written by Jackson Lanzing, Collin Kelley, Brandon Easton, and Jody Houser, Odyssey’s End (Book 1) features art by Silvia Califano, Martin Coccolo, and Stephen Thompson. The cover was provided by George Caltsoudas.
The one-hundred-and-forty-four page issue will cost $19.99.
