Star Trek: Picard Season 2 Could Film In March Of Next Year
CBS All Access is going all-in on the world of Star Trek. In addition to Discovery, they have Lower Decks and Picard on the way, with the latter expected to hit next year. At this point, we don’t know exactly when those 10 episodes will hit the streaming platform, but it’s not unrealistic to expect they’re already thinking of the season to follow.
In fact, if we are to believe star Patrick Stewart, who plays Jean-Luc Picard, that’s exactly what they’re doing. Speaking with Examiner Live, Stewart gave a rundown of his schedule, including a potential Star Trek: Picard Season 2.

Of course, Stewart did say “possibility” so there’s no guarantee that it’ll happen, but it makes sense that CBS All Access would be assuming the best. It bears the Star Trek name and features a fan-favorite character, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we hear about them renewing it long ahead of its Season 1 premiere.
