Big Bang Theory fans unearth major plot hole about Sheldon and Leonard's friendship
It's only been a couple of months sinceThe Big Bang Theoryaired its final episode and fans have found (another) major plot hole from the early seasons of the show.
Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) are total friendship goals, sure, but a keen-eyed viewer has just revealed to us blindsided fans that Sheldon and Leonard might not have met in the year they said they did.

In season three episode 'The Staircase Implementation', Leonard tells Penny (Kaley Cuoco) the story of how he and Sheldon met in 2003 when he was looking for a room to rent.
But in a later episode – 'The 21 Second Excitation' – Sheldon says that he and Leonard waited 14 hours to get into the Star Trek: Nemesis premiere in the same year they met.
Reddit user 12thDoctorIsABadass pointed out that Sheldon and Leonard could not have met in the year they said they did, since Nemesis' premiere was in 2002.

"According to 'The Staircase Implementation' they met in 2003, however Star Trek Nemesis came out in 2002," the user noted.
"Just weird the writers didn't remember this considering that the staircase episode came out pretty shortly before this one."
Well spotted!
