Baby Yoda Jumps the Shark with Baby Data Mashup

Star Wars meets Star Trek in this new Baby Yoda mashup

In the latest Baby Yoda crossover, The Mandalorian's breakout star is combined with the look of Star Trek: The NextGeneration'sLieutenant Commander Data in a frame from the new series Picard. "#IJumpedToWarpSpeed with the help of Baby Data," the tweet reads. 

Aside from The Next Generation, Data has appeared in Star Trek Generations (1994), Star Trek: First Contact (1996), Star Trek: Insurrection (1998), and Star Trek: Nemesis (2002). He recently reprised the role for Picard.

The Mandalorian wrapped its first season in late December 2019 and has been renewed for a second season. Baby Yoda's existence and identity were the driving forces behind the first season, with remnants of the Galactic Empire hunting the infant. When we last saw "The Child," he was in the care of Pedro Pascal's Mandalorian.

Created by Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog and Nick Nolte. The entire first season is available to stream on Disney+.

Star Trek: Picard stars Patrick Stewart, Alison Pill, Michelle Hurd, Evan Evagora, Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera and Harry Treadaway. New episodes of the series premiere every Thursday on CBS All Access.
