Star Trek Debuts Comic-Con@Home Teaser With Discovery, Lower Decks & Picard

While Comic-Con International in San Diego may be taking place at home this year due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the casts of CBS All Access' new Star Trek series are coming together for a series of panels to answer questions and interact with fans online.

CBS has released a teaser video for the Comic-Con@Home panels, slated to go live on Thursday, July 23. The video shows moderator Dominic Patten leading the casts of Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Picard and the upcoming Star Trek: Lower Decks in individual panel discussions.

The cast of Discovery will lead the panels, with a table read of the Season 2 finale "Such Sweet Sorrow, Part 2," before answering fan questions. The cast of the upcoming animated series Lower Decks will then take over, in a discussion about the show while providing a sneak peek of the series premiere ahead of its debut next month on CBS All Access. Finally, the cast of Picard will reconvene to reflect on the first season while teasing what audiences should expect for Season 2.

In addition to the cast panels, executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Heather Kadin will be on hand to hint at what fans can expand as the iconic sci-fi franchise continues to expand for new generations.

Moderated by Dominic Patten, the Star Trek Universe panel will stream July 23 at 10 a.m. PT on the official Comic-Con YouTube Channel.
