A new Star Trek: Voyager comic featuring Seven of Nine due out Nov
A new Star Trek: Comic is coming out in November that will feature Seven of Nine.
Star Trek comics don’t get a lot of love, and they should. Comics in general are wonderful and compared to animation or special effects are extremely inexpensive to produce. There is no budget for big battles or actors. You’re not limited by anything but your own imagination and creativity. So with IDW announcing a new comic, Star Trek: Voyager – Seven’s Reckoning, you better believe it’s going to be jam-packed with all sorts of goodies and awe-inspiring visuals.
The series will be written by Dave Baker of Star Trek: Waypoint and illustrated by Angel Hernandez, who worked on Star Trek: Picard – Countdown. Colorist for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, Ronda Pattison will handle that role for this book as well. The story will jump back to before the USS Voyager returned home, and will focus on events pre-series finale.
While fans may want to see what Seven of Nine was up to after Voyager returned to Earth, fans may want to bathe in this book’s trip down memory lane.
Baker took the time to speak to StarTrek.com about the book and spoke about how his fandom for Star Trek played into why he wanted to write this story.
Baker also praised past Voyager one-shots and the talented crew he’ll get to work with on this upcoming mini-series.
IDW’s Star Trek: Voyager – Seven’s Reckoning #1 will release this November with multiple covers variants including Cover A by Angel Hernandez, Cover B featuring a cast photo of Seven of Nine as portrayed by Jeri Ryan, and a Retailer Incentive edition by Jeffrey Veregge (G.I. Joe, Red Wolf).
