Star Trek: Discovery Has Begun Production on Season 4
It turns out that Season 4 ofStar Trek: Discovery is arriving sooner than expected.
Michelle Paradise, a writer and co-executive producer on Discovery, posted a short and sweet tweet: "Season 4, here we go! #StarTrekDiscovery." She included a gif of Discovery activating its spore drive.
CBS has only released three episodes of Discoveryso far, with 10 still to come, so hearing news about Season 4 might seem premature. But given that Season 3 has included a compelling soft reboot of the show, with major shakeups to its location and timeline, fans who have enjoyed it and hope to see it explored further, should be overjoyed at the news.

With Season 3 having been delayed by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it is possible that development and writing on Season 4 could have taken up a large proportion of the team's time in lockdown.
