As a Star Trek fan, if you’ve spent any time on Twitter, you will, undoubtedly have seen the myriad tweets about the franchise. These range from celebrations over the upcoming new shows to “this day in Trek history.” Not that this was ever in question, but Star Trek fans will keep the flame of their beloved franchise alive for centuries to come.

This was an important moment in Star Trek as we got to see Worf’s human parents as well as a different side of the brusque warrior. He was finally able to let down his guard, if only for a moment, when his parents arrived on the Enterprise.

Rom was one of the most lovable Ferengis, and even though Quark always referred to him as an idiot, Rom showed, on so many occasions, that he was smart and innovative.

With the Star Trek theme and the array of ships, this brief glimpse of history will put a lump in your throat.
