William Shatner is headlining regional Star Trek Creation conventions

Creation Entertainment’s 55-year mission tour will be held in Las Vegas in August 2021, but they’re also offering something more

Not everyone has the time or the money to fly to Las Vegas, Nevada for the massive Star Trek55-year mission tour in August, especially if you live on the East Coast. That convention has 100 celebrity guests confirmed, and maybe that’s a bit off-putting, too. Many people don’t like huge crowds, and with 100 celebrity guests, you can bet the crowds will be at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino. Thankfully, Creation is offering something that’s a little more down-to-earth that has fewer celebrity attendee—regional conventions that will be headlined by William Shatner.

Only one of these regional events will take place before the 55-year mission tour. It’s being held in Vancouver, BC July 16-18, 2021. As of now, this is the only convention that has TNG guests scheduled.

Then September 10-12, Shatner and celebrity guests will be in Edison, New Jersey (which is only about 33 miles away from New York City) This convention has Picard, Discovery, and Deep Space Nine actors as well as The Orville actors.

Another convention will be taking place at the same time in Jacksonsville. FL. This is the only one of the regional conventions to have Enterprise actors (Jeffery Combs and Vaughn Armstrong).

Since both the Edison, NJ and Jacksonville, FL conventions take place on the exact same dates, you’ll want to check the days that William Shatner and any guest you want to see will actually be available. Jeri Ryan (Voyager and Picard) and Anthony Rapp (Discovery) are the only two actors that will appear at all three conventions. You can find out all the details at Creation Entertainment’s website.

Smaller conventions like these may offer better opportunities to interact with the guests and potentially less waiting times. Tickets aren’t on sale yet so keep checking Creation’s website or sign up for their email newsletter to be notified in plenty of time.
